About Us
Wessex Community Action (formerly Salisbury & District CVS), founded in 1973 , is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity working in Wiltshire, Swindon, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire & Dorset. Its core functions are:- Support services to voluntary and community groups
- Development of new initiatives in the community
- Liaison between groups, organisations and agencies
- Representing the best interests of the VCS/Third Sector
- Partnership development
