Our Tourism
Salisbury is a very popular tourist destination, what with the Cathedral in the city centre and the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge just a few miles away.  Tourism brings about 3.2 million visitors a year into the South Wiltshire area, who spend around £187million whilst here.  This provides a significant number of jobs locally - sustaining over 4,200 jobs.  However, the number of tourists in the city can bring challenges.
