Confidence in your ability to fundraise successfully comes from the knowledge that you know what you are doing. This workshop is most suitable for those that either have no experience of fundraising, those who are fearful of the prospect of failure, or those who have experienced disaster! The session will address some of the participant’s concerns and will help them to identify methods of fundraising most suitable for their organisation and themselves, leading to a feeling of confidence of future success – A can do attitude!

Who The Course Is Aimed At:
This course is suitable for Voluntary and Charity organisations and other community groups and the individuals tasked with fundraising.
What The Course Will Cover:
The session will address some of the participant’s concerns and will help them to identify methods of fundraising most suitable for their organisation and themselves, leading to a feeling of confidence of future success - A can do attitude! This relaxed workshop will include some work in small groups and will impart basic knowledge of fundraising methods. The aim is to encourage, support and motivate the participants. Those attending this course will need further fundraising training, but this workshop will nurture the skills you may not recognize that you have!
Outcomes:
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:  Understand what terrifies them about fundraising.  What they can do to overcome this  Identify methods of fundraising that most suit them and the needs of their organisation  How to set realistic targets  How to avoid disasters or learn from them
