Join us for the Wiltshire Volunteer Managers Forum – a welcoming space for anyone who supports volunteers to come together.
Whether you’re a volunteer manager, coordinator, team leader, or part of a wider support team, this forum offers the opportunity to connect with peers from across Wiltshire, share experiences, discuss challenges, and exchange ideas and best practice.
This is a supportive and informal space to learn from one another, strengthen networks, and build confidence in your volunteer management role.
Come along, meet others who understand the realities of supporting volunteers, and be part of a growing community across the county.

Arrival and parking

Parking in our car park is limited, and unfortunately we can’t reserve spaces so we’d recommend arriving slightly early, if you can. The walk from the main visitor car park to the Brewhouse takes approx.. 10 mins. Please don’t pay for parking, just pop a note on your dashboard to say that you’re here for the WXCA Volunteer Managers Forum, we’ll collect vehicle registrations during the meeting.
By Bus: Avebury is well served by two bus routes. Stagecoach Bus 49 (between Swindon, Devizes and Trowbridge) passes through Avebury twice an hour from Mon-Sat and hourly on Sundays. Passengers can also travel from Calne and Marlborough on the No. 42 service run by the Swindon Bus Company (please check timetable before travelling).
Finding the Brewhouse: The Brewhouse Meeting Room is located in the staff area of Avebury Manor. Once parked, please make your way from the visitor car park or Avebury High Street, through the old farmyard and to the Brewhouse Meeting Room (access through the wooden gate marked Private). what3words: ///hulk.moss.allowable
The Manor will be looking it’s festive best and there will be time to explore after the meeting and enjoy the Christmas decorations if you wish!
