The Fundraiser coffee morning is a relaxed and practical session designed for anyone involved in fundraising. It’s a chance to connect with others, share experiences, and pick up useful ideas to strengthen your fundraising approach.

Below are some of the best places to start when looking for funding.

  • Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation

    Community Grants programme supporing people and communities in need in Wiltshire and Swindon. Grants of up to £5,000 per year for up to three years are available to voluntary organisations for projects and activities that improve people's lives.

  • Wiltshire Council Area Boards

    Wiltshire Council devolves significant funding to the Area Boards in order for them to invest in local community projects and initiatives that meet local priorities and deliver exceptional outcomes for residents. Grant applications must demonstrate how they will improve the local communities by addressing priorities and help to deliver to the council's Business plan.

    Types of grant

    Area Board grants are split into 4 funding schemes:

    • Community grants 

    • Youth grants 

    • Older and Vulnerable adult grants 

    • Councillor Led initiatives

  • Wiltshire Community Lottery

    A Community Lottery is an opportunity to generate sustainable, unrestricted revenue

    for local good causes and community projects.

    Registration is now open for local good causes who would like to take part in the Wiltshire Community Lottery. The process is simple and straight‑forward.

  • Local Town Council Grants

    Many of the town councils across Wiltshire offer small grants to local organisations. Check out their websites to find out more information.

  • National Lottery Awards for All

    Funding for projects that bring people together to build strong relationships and improve communities in England. You can apply for a grant of between £300 and £20,000 for projects lasting up to 2 years.

  • National Lottery Awards for All: Environment

    Fund community-led projects that improve the environment and help people connect with and enjoy nature where they live.

    We fund projects that meet one of the following priorities:

    • help people connect with and care for nature in their area

    • make a positive difference to the environment

  • National Lottery Reaching Communities

    With this funding, they want to help strengthen communities and improve lives across England. This funding is available to all communities. But priority is the places, people and communities that need it most.

    By ‘community’, they mean people who live in the same area. Or people with similar interests or life experiences, even if they do not live in the same area.

    You can apply for £20,001 or more, for projects lasting up to 5 years.
