A Fresh New Look

Many of you will already have noticed our new logo, refreshed branding, and brand-new website.

For more than 50 years, Wessex Community Action has been supporting charities, voluntary organisations, and community groups across Wiltshire. As we continue to evolve, it was important that our identity clearly reflects who we are, what we do, and how we can help.

Our refreshed branding and website have been designed to make it easier than ever for organisations to find the support, resources, and guidance they need. With improved navigation, enhanced accessibility, and clearer information, visitors can quickly connect with our services, discover volunteering opportunities, and access practical support.

While our look may have changed, our commitment remains the same: supporting the voluntary, charity and social enterprise (VCSE) sector across Wiltshire.

Growing Our Team

We are delighted to have secured funding that will allow us to expand our team and increase the support we can offer to local charities and community organisations.

We are currently recruiting for two new roles:

VCSE Development Advisor (Salisbury)

A community-focused role supporting organisations, partnerships, and initiatives in Salisbury.

VCSE Development Lead (Wiltshire-wide)

A strategic role working across Wiltshire to strengthen and develop the VCSE sector, helping organisations build resilience and maximise their impact.

We've Moved!

Another exciting development is our recent office move.

Our previous office no longer met the needs of our growing organisation, and we are delighted to have relocated to new premises in central Salisbury. Being based in the heart of the city gives us a more accessible home and places us closer to the communities, organisations, volunteers, and partners we work alongside every day.

We look forward to welcoming visitors to our new office in the coming months.
